I upgraded from the 4th generation, to the 5th generation Ipod nano. The old wall charger went with the old nano. I got this charger due to the price. I buy all of my chargers from amazon. This charger is very cheap to buy, but DOES NOT LACK in quality! Very strong hold in the wall and with the Ipod it self. The only diffrence between the ones bought in store and this one is the small price.

I was quite surprised at the amount of people who had chargers that did not work. I ordered one for my ipod nano 2nd generation, and it works beautifully. It's lightweight, and the specifications are displayed on the back of the charger. One thing that i thought was odd was that the charger had it's own little red light to indicate that it was working. Kind of unnecessary, as we can determine that by looking at the ipod to see if it is in charge status. Even if you dom't connect the ipod to the wall charger, but have the charger plugged into the wall, the red light stays on. SO I wouldn't keep this thing plugged in permanently, or when not in use. The usb end of the cable has 2 locks that you can easily press to remove your Ipod from the cable, which is a nice add-on. Overall, this product was cheap, effective, and so far it works great for my ipod 2nd gen nano.

This charger is great! It was less than $3 and works like a charm. It is a little bulky, so I can only fit two of them in my charging station, in stead of three.

It is always a great idea to have a way to charge without relying on the computer. I got this for my son who works on the railroad and travels extensively. During layovers he can keep the tunes flowing.

For the price, it is exactly what I paid for. I should have spent a little more money and got something that would be UL listed. I dont feel comfortable leaving this charger plugged in for long periods.
It works, but leaving it plugged in scares me.
