I actually like it better than the glass because swiping is smoother, fingers don't stick under hard gaming.
Touch sensitivity is not affected, which is nice.
When applying, make sure you're not even near a heating vent in your house; kicks up small dust.
Way superior to cheap protectors.

This was the first ipod screen protector I've ever tried to apply, but I have applied quite a few other screen protectors on different electronics, so I have a little experience with them... just not on an ipod (mine is an ipod 3G).
Anyway, this was absolutely the easiest screen protector I have ever applied. I even had to pry it up and reapply it because it was a little off the first time. But that didnt pose a problem. The package comes with 2 screen protectors, and since it's so easy to apply, you actually get to use both of them (and not just have 1 for "practice" in case you screw it up). As with any screen protector though, use a little bit of patience, clean your screen before applying, and make sure no lint is on the screen. Took me 20 minutes to rip open the package, read the instructions, clean my ipod, and apply the protector.
I like the way it feels when i glide my finger over it. Very smooth.
Overall, a little pricey, but well worth it because it's headache-free.

Thick film really protects your screen. You can't even tell its there. Easy to apply with no bubbles. A little pricey but worth it compared to other similar products I think.

This is an above-average screen protector because it's stiffer than average, making it somewhat easier to apply. There are several videos around the net that show how to place this - find one and watch it - that'll make things easier. If things go right, the film drops into place, the air bubbles are easily pushed to the side, and the film provides great visibility and protection from fingerprints. I must've had beginner's luck the first time, because the process went smoothly and quickly. However, on a second try, I struggled. The scotch tape trick for getting rid of dust works, but you have to be careful, else you leave tape residue on the back of the screen (which surprisingly, becomes less noticeable once the film has been down for awhile). The film is supposed to be reusable - and indeed, I was able to wash mine following the directions at the manufacturer's website. It looked clean after washing, but I don't know how I'm going to deal with the dust that got on it when I handled it to put it in storage.

Challenging to place the cover on correctly. If you touch the underside even a little bit, the product is ruined.
