I bought this for use with my iPod 4th Gen Nano and iPod Touch. It is very sensitive and has good sound quality, especially for the price. This item opened up a whole new dimension of capability for my iPod devices.
One thing I really like is the rugged nature of its construction. I just put the cap on it and carry it around in my pocket so I always have it when I need it.

All of the reviews I read on this product raved about the quality of the sound. While I must admit that it does pick up sound very well, it has issues. It seems that the input volume is too high for iPhone Recorder and SmartRecord because the recordings are full of static and pops. While this is bearable for recording lectures, it would unacceptable for anything else. I am disapppointed.

Great microphone. Initially thought the one I received was defective and the service from the manufacturer was excellent! Good sound quality and easy to use!
