This dock is simple and useful for older iPod models, but will not work with the new iPhones or the iPod touch. The instructions actually state that you have to use a separate audio cable (not included) for these devices, which you could, of course, do without a dock and which, of course, you cannot do WITH the dock, because the audio output is blocked when the device is in the cradle. I would characterize the seller's claims as careless and possible deceptive. Watch out for this!

I have a 2nd gen ipod touch that I always connect to my desktop to sync and charge but it was annoying plugging it in to that ugly white Apple cable that cluttered my desk. I purchased this dock to charge and sync my ipod and I am pleased with what it is that I sought it out for. The unit that came in the mail looks just like the picture displayed and has various ipod connector plates for a wide variety of ipod connections. The station uses a usb mini-b cable to connect to your computer for syncing and charging, it also comes with a ac adapter that you can plug the usb mini-b cable to for just charging. I am not going to bother with the other options of this Cradle so I really can't give it a full review but for what I use it for I give it 5 stars.

BEWARE of CrazyonDigital. I have looked at several of their products and they intentionally try to deceive you. The title of this product says for Iphone 3gs, and even in the technical details it says Iphone 3gs. But in the notes section lower down it says, "Note that the unit is not compatible with iphone 3GS." If you know that, CHANGE YOUR TITLE! Why deceive people? Don't cheat us out of our hard earned money.

Very nice looking product works well with ipods -Sound pass through for IPONE 3G does not work very disapointing.

This dock works fine, comes with several plastic inserts to accomodate various devices, no problems charging but the unit is BRIGHT SILVER and not black as shown. Seller offered to replace but after shipping etc. decided it just wasn't worth it.
